OUT!!! This is Ada's favorite word and she uses it all day long to indicate she's ready to get OUT of any given situation. It became everybody's favorite word after months of wet and gray. Months of handprints and noseprints on all the windows. Months of singing It'srainingit'spouringtheoldmanissnoring. But when the skies became a LIGHTER gray, there was one point on which we all agreed: we wanted OUT.

Ada, carrying her socks, this (one) day was barefoot weather!
The photo doesn't do justice to this take-your-breath-away morning. It had rained heavily the night before so the yard was like a rainforest, all drippy and wettish. Then the SUN appeared from nowhere, although I'm guessing from somewhere in the East:) The result was early-morning brilliance and great long shadows. I was out there in my bathrobe capturing the glory of it all. Plus, it smelled so good I wanted to eat a small shrub for breakfast.
All together now......we're OUT!!!
